Welcome to the online home of the West Boca Panthers Travel Baseball organization.  Since 1997, the Panthers have been shaping and helping to build the character of hundreds of young people throughout the West Boca Raton area. Learning valuable life lessons through their participation in travel baseball, we teach sportsmanship, discipline and respect for others, while trying to make our Panthers the best baseball players they can be.

We field a complete line up of teams starting at the 8U level all the way through to 14U. You can find out what level your child could participate in by checking the age chart we have prepared.

Many of our players have started with us at the 8 and 9 year old level and have played Panther baseball all the way through the 14 year old level. Many of our players go on to play high school and even college baseball.

Most of our coaches have been coaching baseball for many years. We pride ourselves in the professionalism and skill of our Panther coaching staff. Many of the Panther teams participate in USSSA Baseball through the Florida Premiere Sports League.

Our teams participate in many tournaments throughout the state of Florida. Also most Panther teams travel to Cooperstown, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame to participate in a tournament there when they are either 11 or 12.

Competitive travel baseball is not for every youth. It is a big commitment for both the player and their family. While we think the rewards far outweigh the commitment, participating in travel baseball demands a lot of time and effort. It is not something to be entered into lightly.

All of our teams are on the look out for quality and dedicated players.  Tryouts are generally scheduled before the fall and spring baseball seasons start, in August and December respectively.  Tryouts dates will be posted on this website with their locations.  Feel free to contact the team coaches directly for further details.  You will find their respective email addresses in the team pages.

Our home games are played at either South County Park, Pinewoods Park or Sandalfoot Cove Park. We enjoy a close working relationship with West Boca Youth Baseball and many of our players and teams participate in the WBYB recreational leagues as well.

The Panthers organization is governed by a Board of Governors who have been involved with the Panthers for many years. Additionally, many of the coaches and parents of players help out with administrative and other duties. We pride ourselves on our feeling of “Panther family”. The names and contacts for our Board of Governors are below.  In the meantime if you or your child think they have what it takes to wear Panther orange and black, come on down and see if you “have the right stuff”.
